THE GOAL
CapCut is a well-known video editing app in Asia, looking to expand in the US market, and establish itself as the leading video editing app.
THE STRATEGY
Delka Talents set out to find the best platforms to market this incredibly easy-to-handle app with all features under one roof, available for free. What better way to market it than on TikTok and Youtube, the two largest video sharing social media platforms. We approached 19 content creators like Mike Majlek, Brenna Quann, Xeetechare etc, all from different niches to market the app as a versatile tool that can be used by anyone and everyone. Running more than 24 campaigns and reaching more than 5M people, this approach not only helped the app introduce itself, but also penetrate an over-saturated market. The same can be substantiated by the following figures: - Since May 21, CapCut has been the No.1 free app in the U.S. App Store, according to analytics company Sensor Tower. - It ranks 9th on Google Play, as stated by TechCrunch in one of their recent articles. - According to Fox Interviewer, ByteDance’s video editor, CapCut is growing rapidly in the US.
